Pumpkin Carver 1.0.1
Truckfish Games | https://truckfishgames.com/

Start playing
Extract the ZIP into a folder. Open PumpkinCarver.html with Microsoft Edge.
If it opens in a text editor, right-click the HTML file and choose Open with >
Microsoft Edge. The game needs WebGL2 graphics support. You can play offline;
the optional More Truckfish games link opens the online catalogue.
No installer, server, account or development tools are needed to play this file.

Version 1.0.1 fixes browser saving during Replay and time-lapse, porch updates
with reduced motion, the startup message when WebGL2 is unavailable, and backup
downloads from Quit and the graphics-reset panel.
Replay locks editing while it plays and keeps your finished carving saved.

Choose Continue from Home, or New carving for clean skin. A default example face
appears on a first launch. New carving and Clear carving can be reversed with
Undo. Pick a technique on the left, then drag or click on the pumpkin.
Knife cuts through; Shave leaves glowing flesh; Relief deepens with each pass.
Putty replaces skin. Cookie cutter, Words and Picture stencil place shapes you
can adjust with the small adjustment bar. Realism makes disconnected pieces fall
out. Stencil bridges help keep the middles of letters and pictures attached.

Controls
Mouse or pen: drag to carve; click to stamp. The canvas needs pointer input.
1 to 9, then 0: select the ten techniques in order.
Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y: undo / redo carving mask changes.
M: sound on/off. ?: help. Escape: pause, resume, or close a dialog.
After a placement: arrows move; + and - resize; [ and ] turn; Enter finishes.
Home: start menu. Settings: sound, control size, reduced motion and fullscreen.
N / C on Home: New carving / Continue.
Save / Open: download or restore one carving as a JSON file.
Save to porch: keep a pumpkin in the collection. In Porch, drag it to a spot,
rename or resize it, or choose Carve this one and then Update porch pumpkin.
Save porch file / Open porch file: download or restore the whole collection.
Photo: PNG. Looping GIF, WebP and Video: animated exports. Time-lapse uses the
current session's undo history. Exported media is silent. Sticker transparency
works with PNG and GIF; WebP and Video keep the scene.
Choose Quit / backups from Home for backup controls and closing instructions.
Close the browser tab with Ctrl+W to quit. Browsers may reserve some shortcuts.
F5 refreshes the page; it is not a game-save shortcut.

Keep your work
The game saves locally in this browser when storage is available. Profiles keep
separate carvings, porches, stamps and preferences. Default uses the original
game's storage keys for compatibility. Save files from versions 1 and 2 can be
opened. Undo history, tool selections and the current imported stencil are not
included in carving files. Browser data clearing, private browsing, moving this
HTML file or switching browsers can remove or separate local saves.
Keep BOTH carving and porch JSON backups in a folder you control.
A browser-save warning means the current work needs those file backups.
The browser controls whether and where downloads are saved.

Limits and troubleshooting
This is a single-player, untimed creative sandbox. There is no campaign, score,
controller support or fully keyboard-operated drawing. Physical touch devices
and operating systems other than the tested Windows browser remain unverified.
If graphics are unavailable, use an Edge installation with WebGL2 support.
If graphics reset, the dialog reports whether browser saving succeeded and
provides a carving-file backup before you refresh.
Source pictures must be at most 12 MiB and 4096 pixels per side. Save PNGs are
limited to 4 MiB encoded and 2048 pixels per side; JSON files to 32 MiB.
The porch holds 20 pumpkins and has 19 display spots. Extra pumpkins stay on
the shelf. A damaged imported porch is rejected without replacing your porch.
GIF exports reject requests needing over 64 MiB of RGB/alpha frame storage.
Choose 360 px, fewer frames per second or a shorter loop and try again.
Cancel export or press Escape to stop at the next available yield point.
Large exports can take time; keep the tab open while it works.

Support
Visit https://truckfishgames.com/ and use the site's support/contact options.
Include version 1.0.1, your browser version, what you clicked and any error text.
Keep your original files and JSON backups. Do not send private imported pictures
unless you choose to share them for troubleshooting.

Provenance
This release preserves the supplied single-file browser game and its procedural
graphics and synthesized effects, with save, input, export and publisher-flow
repairs. The shared Truckfish publisher logo is embedded for offline startup.
Imported pictures remain local to your browser. No cloud save or telemetry is
part of this game. Original creator history and third-party code licensing have
not been independently established from the supplied source.
